How to use My Focus?

When you open My Focus, you have access to all the tickets that require your attention for the current week. To start working on a task, you can simply move the ticket to the next status, such as In Progress or any custom status you have created.

You have the freedom to work on multiple tickets simultaneously, depending on your team’s organization and priorities. Once you complete a task, make sure to change the ticket status to Processed to avoid holding your team back. This helps maintain an accurate overview of project progress.

If you have already completed all the tickets planned for the week, you can choose to get a head start on future tasks or focus on other priorities. RoadmapHero adapts to your pace.

If, for any reason, you were unable to process all the tickets for the current week (some tickets may span several weeks depending on your planning mode), the ticket will be automatically scheduled and carried over to the following week. Your roadmap will be adjusted accordingly without any effort on your part. This ensures that projects remain on track, even if adjustments are necessary.

Why is the same ticket present multiple times?

A ticket can appear multiple times in My Focus if several skills need to be processed during the same period, depending on your planning mode. In this case, it is recommended to address these skills sequentially, but you have the freedom to tackle them in the order that suits you best. This flexibility allows you to adapt your work to your personal style and the immediate needs of your organization.

How to distribute tickets?

Each builder with similar skills and products will see a similar view of My Focus, but the overall workload is adjusted based on each builder's individual accomplishments. The idea is to replicate the logic of agile methods, where the team is responsible for ticket distribution.

If a ticket is specifically assigned to a builder, it will be visible only to the person it is assigned to. A ticket can be assigned during the initial planning or when a builder marks the ticket as In Progress for the relevant skill. This ensures that everyone knows exactly what to focus on, reducing friction and increasing efficiency.
