How to share a public roadmap?
Sharing your public roadmap is a great way to keep your clients and stakeholders informed about the evolution of your products. Here’s how you can do it:
- Integrated on your website or client portal: Use an embed or direct link to make your public roadmap accessible without requiring login credentials. This allows your users to easily access important information without any additional hassle.
- Embedded in Notion: With a one-click dedicated integration, you can embed your roadmap directly into Notion, which is ideal for centralizing information and easily sharing it with your users.
- Via Slack (coming soon): Set the frequency and day for sharing, and the link to your public roadmap will automatically be broadcasted on the Slack channel of your choice. This upcoming feature will facilitate regular communication of your updates.
- Via Email: Set the frequency and day to send the link to your public roadmap to an email list. It's a convenient way to keep your audience informed of recent and upcoming developments.
How to choose what users will see?
You can precisely control what is visible on your public roadmap. For each ticket, you can decide whether it should appear on the public roadmap. This option is available in the ticket's title area once it is created. You have the flexibility to change this setting at any time to meet your communication needs.
Additionally, just like with sharing with internal teams, you can use the settings gear icon to choose what you want to display to your users. You can include:
- The changelog: Share the latest changes and updates to keep your users informed about product evolution.
- The delivery roadmap: Show what will soon be available and delivered.
- The discovery roadmap: Provide an overview of ongoing explorations and future projects.
- The remaining backlog: Offer a comprehensive view of tasks that have not yet been planned.
By customizing the display, you can ensure that your users see the most relevant and useful information, enhancing transparency and trust.
