To create your backlog, you will use tickets. Each ticket represents an item to be managed in your project. Let’s explore the different types of tickets you can create and their purposes.
You can create several types of tickets in RoadmapHero. Each type serves a specific purpose:
Initiative / Pain
This is a ticket where you will conduct discovery to identify suitable solutions to achieve your goals and satisfy your users.
Feature
A ticket for implementing a feature. You can perform discovery, crafting, development, and deployment of the feature. A feature can be linked to an initiative.
Story
This ticket allows your development team to accomplish what is necessary for the proper functioning of a feature. A story is often created once you start working on a feature and break it down into functional units.
Maintenance
These tickets involve actions that are not related to strategic developments of your product but are necessary to keep it up-to-date and functional.
Bug
Bug tickets represent anomalies identified in your product that may require immediate attention depending on their severity.
All tickets you create are placed in your backlog. You can then filter, sort, and view them as you wish. For each ticket, RoadmapHero assigns a priority score, defined by our algorithm based on the provided information and your previous tickets. You can incorporate your tickets into your roadmap through planning.
